The regulation of the
Hypnotherapy Profession in the UK is controlled by the
UKCHO, who are the umbrella body for hypnotherapy organisations. They are recognised as such by the Prince's Foundation for Integrated Health, which is the body tasked by the Government to oversee the regulation of the Complimentary and Alternative Medicines (CAM's) in the UK.
The UKCHO represents the
UK's professional hypnotherapy organisations, including the APHP and NCP, and has developed standards of training for hypnotherapists, along with codes of conduct and best practice.
